A punter won over £10,000 from a remarkable 63p football accumulator over the weekend
A lucky punter won more than £10,000 from a remarkable 20-fold football accumulator with a stake of just 63p at the weekend.
Adam Osbourne revealed the amazing string of successes on Twitter, with Espanyol’s 2-1 win on Sunday night against Leganes in LaLiga the final bet to come in before his dad cashed out for a total win of £10,608.16, following the 25,505.74/1 bet.
In a tweet, Osbourne said that his father was about to close his SkyBet account before the miraculous win, saying: ‘My Dad was ready to close his account and [he] put his last 63p on this’, followed by a crying laughter and clapping emoji.
Then in a video, he shows the moment his dad celebrates in their lounge following the incredible win, screaming: ‘He’s gone and won, come on!’

In responding to congratulatory tweets, Osbourne added he had ‘no idea how he pulled it off’, describing it as ‘the bet of the century’ and joking he hopes to ‘get a little drink out of it!’
Osbourne, a 22-year-old semi-pro footballer who used to play in Wolves’ youth-team setup and last played for Worcester City, also replied to on loan Sunderland defender Dion Sanderson, saying ‘Bro it was a madness!’
Included in his dad’s accumulator was wins for the likes of Manchester United against Tottenham, Arsenal at Sheffield United and Rangers versus Hibernian in English and Scottish top-flight games.
However, he also placed bets on matches in leagues in Denmark, Sweden, Croatia and Argentina.
In fact, his most nervy game was in the Cypriot First Division – just the second match out of 20 – with AEL Limassol scoring an 84th minute winner against AEK Larnaca, a bet which had odds of 10/11.
Another tight encounter was Atalanta’s 3-2 victory at Fiorentina in Serie A, with the scores level at 2-2 with 20 minutes to go, but Josip Ilicic’s penalty gave the visitors a victory.
His final game, the win for Espanyol, was also far from simple, with Nico Melamed scoring the winner in the 73rd minute at the RCDE Stadium.

Paul Dean breathed a huge sigh of relief after cashing out an incredible £5 accumulator for £250,000 before the final horse fell in the opening race at Cheltenham on Thursday March 18.
The mammoth five-fold bet went viral after Bob Olinger clinched victory in the Ballymore Novices Hurdle, meaning he just needed odds-on favourite Envoi Allen to win in the first race today to bag himself over half a million pounds.
Cheltenham punter Paul Dean opted for a partial cash-out on his mammoth five-fold acca
He would’ve scooped an incredible £322,000 if he stuck with his bet and Envoi Allen won – but the odds-on favourite fell during the Marsh Novices Chase (pictured) on Thursday
After ‘four hours’ sleep and a long 5am walk’, he opted for a partial cash-out, meaning he would take £250,000 if Envoi didn’t win, and £322,000 if he did.
In addition, David Jackson posted his betting slip on Twitter, showing how his four-fold accumulator needed Henry de Bromhead’s charge to win on Friday March 19 to land an eye-popping £112,854.
Having already backed three winners – with Galvin, Quilixios and Sir Gerhard all coming in, Jack Kennedy’s great late surge brought home the jackpot.
