Nearly half of all the spots within the top 10 on this week’s Gaon Download chart are occupied by tunes that debut inside the area, with four just-released tracks quickly finding their way into the highly competitive region.

The Gaon Download chart ranks the bestselling individual songs in South Korea every week.

Leading the way yet again is Lim Young-woong’s “My Love Like the Starlight,” which has been unbeatable for weeks. The track has fended off competition from some of the biggest names in the South Korean music industry, and it continues to sell very well frame after frame.

New at No. 2 is “One,” the new single from boy band Astro. The track fronts their new full-length All Yours, which opens atop the Gaon Albums chart, giving them yet another ruler.

Lee Jin-hyuk has now released three EPs on his own, and all of them have spent at least one turn inside the top 10 on the Gaon Albums chart, with his latest effort Scene26 following in that successful streak. Now, that new release has produced a top 10 on the Gaon Download ranking, as “5K” lunches at No. 3.

The third in a line of three consecutive debuts comes from Kim Jae-hwan, as his latest single “I Wouldn’t Look For You” starts off at No. 4. That’s an impressive placement, and the tune comes from his new EP Change, which is also a top 10 win on the Gaon Albums list for the former Wanna One star.

Former leader “Lilac” by IU dips from No. 2 to No. 6, and it is followed by fellow one-time champion “Rollin’” by Brave Girls, which is a non-mover at No. 6.

Justin Bieber makes his way into the loftiest top 10 on the Gaon Download chart with his new single “Peaches,” which is the latest focus track from his recent album Justice. The tune, which credits Giveon and Daniel Caesar as featured acts, jumps from No. 23 to No. 7, a noticeable lift.

At the same time, IU also takes up a pair of spots on the roster, as her other very popular tune “Coin” steps down to No. 10 from No. 4.
