“Dating shows have been trending. We had an original concept that we were really excited about producing and things fell into place with Angélica coming on board,” says Ivan Stoilkovich, Estrella Media’s EVP of TV Programming about launching the show. “We have an amazing production team that has a ton of experience in producing dating shows. Couple that with the pandemic easing and a need for human connection and we felt the timing was right.”

Besides news programs, Estrella Media is currently producing a wide range of original shows. Among them: talent search competition Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento,  talk show Tu-Night con Omar Chaparro, and game show 100 Latinos Dijeron, a co-production with Fremantle Media Mexico. The last two feature well-known Mexican actors and personalities as hosts. Vale joins Estrella Media’s celebrity team.

“We want to work with talent that understands and reflects our core audience and we are extremely grateful to be able to work with Angélica,” states Stoilkovich. “She is a true talent across all disciplines (actor, writer, singer, producer). She does it all. The goal is to work with talented individuals and produce amazing content.”
