As a fairly new single steps up to first place in just its second stay on the Billboard Global 200, two just-released tunes debut inside the top 10, bringing both acts behind the songs to the uppermost region once again.

The Billboard Global 200 is, at its most basic, a ranking of the 200 most-consumed songs in the world every week. The charting company utilizes a formula that combines sales and streaming activity from a plethora of platforms and websites in 200 countries around the globe to create the best-possible list of the tunes billions of people can’t get enough of.

Lil Nas X hits No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 for the first time with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” his viral sensation. The track continues to benefit from its music video, which has been a hot topic in the music industry for weeks now. The notable tune swaps spots with Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar and Giveon’s “Peaches,” which ruled last frame.

The next two singles also trade places, with Silk Sonic (otherwise known as Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak) pushing “Leave The Door Open” to No. 3 while Masked Wolf’s “Astronaut in the Ocean” dips to fourth place.

This week’s loftiest new entrant comes from South Korean superstars BTS, whose most recent single “Film Out” opens at No. 5 on the tally. BTS are no strangers to the Billboard Global 200, as they have now led the charge with three tunes and ranked inside the top 10 with two others, including this latest win.

Dua Lipa and DaBaby’s dance/pop/rapped smash “Levitating” lands at No. 6, followed immediately by The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears,” the latest single from his giant album After Hours

A second new single debuts inside the top 10 of this week’s Billboard Global 200, as Olivia Rodrigo’s new release “Deja Vu” launches at No. 8. The cut follows in the footsteps of her previous track “Drivers License,” which arrived in first place earlier this year and ruled for eight consecutive frames. This time around, it’s comfortable at No. 9, with Rodrigo occupying two spaces in a row.

Closing out the uppermost arena is The Weeknd’s unstoppable “Blinding Lights,” which may soon vacate the top 10, as it’s down at No. 10.
